Welcome to Winthrop's

Winthrop's Bundle includes over 300 prop weapon pieces, plus various screw tolerances, dowels, and washers to 3D print and assemble your very own props. Use them for cosplay at your favorite con, dress up for RPG night, or display them in your game room.

Many pieces can even store RPG dice inside if you wish to hide some dice for a spontaneous session.

The 3D printable hardware is easy to use, and provides different options to reinforce the blades and straight pieces. Use 1/4 wood dowels for the sword blades, or reinforce the straight handles with 1/2pvc pipe. Or cut your own hole in the solid screw to fit your needs.

  • Modular Pieces

    Separate double sided 3D printable screws allow for a strong, reconfigurable connections with toppers, connectors, handles, and end caps.

  • Alignment

    With multiple screw together pieces, you need a way to adjust alignment depending on your tolerances. Using different sizes of 3d printable washers you can adjust the angle that the pieces meet.

  • Reinforce it

    The Blades can be reinforced with a 1/4in dowel (7mm hole). The straight handles can also be reinforced using either a 1/4in dowel, or a 1/2 PVC pipe.

  • Sizing

    All pieces have a variant that will fit in a 180mm sq build volume. Swords and larger pieces are cut, but we also include complete versions if you have a larger printer.

  • Instant Download

    Digital Files: includes .STL & .3MF files to print the models yourself.

  • Printability

    Designed for easy printing on FDM printers. Most pieces require NO slicer supports. A few pieces will benefit from support, but 99% can print without them.

FAQs

When will the files be delivered?

The Starting files are ready to download now! Once your order is processed you will be able to download the initial set. Mystery releases will be fulfilled at the beginning of March 2025. Monthly supporter bundles will be fulfilled on their normal schedule.

I'm a Monthly Supporter, do I get a discount?

What print settings should you use?

Recommended FDM Print Settings:

  • Nozzle: .4mm
  • Layer Height: .2mm
  • Infill:10-12%(gyroid is my favorite)
  • Shells: 2 (3 shells will add extra strength)
  • Supports: NONE for most pieces (maces might benefit from supports to prevent sagging)

*Please be sure your printer is well tuned and printing accurately as these pieces have working mechanisms. Un-even flow, blobby corners, and dimensional accuracy problems will not work well with these moving parts.

Can I buy a physical version?

This project is for digital files only. However, our merchants have the ability to offer these products as physical 3D prints. Check out our list of merchants HERE.
