Fantasy Birdfeeder - .STL & .3MF files

     Want to watch birds come enjoy a nice meal in your own back yard? Why not print your very own Birdfeeder. 

This Birdfeeder is a specially designed to print in multiple parts without the needs for slicers supports. The model prints as separate pieces so that you can print it in various colors without having to have a multi-color 3D printer set-up. Simply glue the various pieces together.We also made a matching Birdhouse for Chickadees HERE.Want to see how it all goes together? 

Comes with 4 different mounting options

• Fence post mount (actual size approx. 3.5in x 3.5inch
• 1in pipe mount
• 3/4in pipe mount
• Angle Bracket Wall/ Tree Mount

You will need:

• 3 filament colors, I used Brown, Green, and Grey (you can print all pieces in the same color if you choose).
• a 3d printer with a build volume of at lease 180mm x 180mm x 180mm
• a waterproof glue, I used a high heat hot glue, but super glue, or epoxy should also work.

Recommended Printer Settings 

I recommend printing the birdhouse pieces in a filament such as PETG. Make sure you have good bed adhesion, and that your printer is cooling properly as this print does require bridging.

Layer Height: .16 -.2mm

Walls/Shells: 2-3 (3+ will add extra strength)

Supports:  NONE required, the roof wood frame is a rather steep angle and some printers may need additional support. (a brim may be helpful on the small roof pieces)
