Chickadee Birdhouse

Do you have Chickadees in your back yard, me too! I think they are just so cute, and I wanted to give them a nice home to live in.

    This Birdhouse is a specially designed to print in multiple parts without the needs for slicers supports. The model prints as separate pieces so that you print it in various colors without having to have a multi-color 3D printer set-up. Simply glue the various pieces together. Comes with 4 different mounting options

• Fence post mount (actual size approx. 3.5in x 3.5inch
• 1in pipe mount
• 3/4in pipe mount
• Angle Bracket Wall/ Tree Mount

You will need:

• To make this birdhouse, I used 4 filament colors: Brown, Green, Beige, and Grey.
• a 3d printer with a build volume of at lease 180mm x 180mm x 180mm
• a waterproof glue

Recommended Printer Settings 

I recommend printing the birdhouse pieces in a filament such as PETG. Make sure you have good bed adhesion, and that your printer is cooling properly as this print does require bridging.

Layer Height - .2mm

Walls/Shells - 2-3 (3+ will add extra strength)

Supports - NONE required (a brim may be helpful on the small roof pieces)
